Zekeriya Güzüpek and Mehmet Ali Ertaş released

DİYARBAKIR – Journalists Zekeriya Güzüpek and Mehmet Ali Ertaş, who were in custody for seven days, have been released after being questioned by the prosecution.

On May 31, police raided the home of Dicle News Agency (DİHA), which was shut down by Statutory Decree, Chairperson Zekeriya Güzüpek and Kurdish service editor Mehmet Ali Ertaş in Diyarbakır and took them into custody. After seven days in custody, two journalists were sent to the courthouse. Two journalists have been released after being questioned by the prosecution.
