SHENGAL – Hundreds of people marched in Shengal led by women in order to protest the isolation imposed on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Shengal Democratic Autonomous Assembly organized a march to protest the isolation imposed on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The march began in the assembly’s building and continued until Girê Nîska region of Kolak village. During the march led by women with participation of hundreds, the mass carried the Abdullah Öcalan’s posters and shouted slogans.
After the march, Rıhan Hıco spoke in behalf of Shengal Democratic Autonomous Assembly. Rıha stated that the isolation has been imposed on Abdullah Öcalan for 18 years and said that human rights organizations should develop an attitude towards the isolation.
The march ended after the talks.
