Harvest time for women living in Qamishlo

QAMISHLO – Women’s Agricultural Cooperative grew lentil and wheat and now it is harvest time for them. They put the products in warehouses and they will sell them after bagging them.

Members of the Women’s Agricultural Cooperative opened by Kongreya Star in the Qamishlo city of Cizîr Canton grew lentils on the 70 hectares of agricultural land and wheat on the 120 hectares of agricultural land in Hîmo village. The cooperative members also grew lentils on 60 hectares and barley on 180 hectares of agricultural land in Tirbespiyê.

Women working for the cooperative gathered in the Hîmo village to harvest the products. After the harvest in the village, the women departed from Hîmo to Tirbespiyê.

After the harvest in the Tirbespiyê and Qamishlo, the women put the products in warehouses and they will sell the products after bagging them.
