Women’s Struggle for Peace: Serbia, Kosovo, Turkey

NEWS CENTER- DEMOS Research Center has released the program of the conference named “Women’s Struggle for Peace: Serbia, Kosova, Turkey” which will be held on May 13-14 in Istanbul with the partnership of the FES.

In the conference, which will be held on May 13-14 in Istanbul by DEMOS Research Center for Peace, Democracy and Alternative Politics with the partnership of the FES, it is aimed to share the experiences of women in order to contribute the women’s participation in the building peace. In the first session of the conference, in which women carrying out the struggle for peace in Turkey and different countries will participate, the Serbia’s identity and memory works will be discussed.

On the third session of the conference, the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Ankara MP Şenal Sarıhan, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) İstanbul MP Pervin Buldan, one of members of Imralı Delegation, will share their experiences.

The conference named “Women’s Struggle for Peace: Serbia, Kosova, Turkey” will be held at Nippon Hotel in Istanbul and those who want to participate in the conference should apply to info@demos.org.tr until May 10.


DEMOS Research Centre was established in Ankara in 2015 by a group of social scientists with the aim to collectivity generate alternative knowledge.
