‘We don’t recognize the fraudulent decision of the YSK’

ISTANBUL –Noting that the ‘No’ willpower is wanted to be stolen by way of the countess lies, frauds and manipulations, the Socialist Women’s Assemblies (SKM) stated they wouldn’t recognize the fraudulent decision of the YSK, “We will cry that these results aren’t legitimate and we will continue to resist.”

Socialist Women’s Assemblies (SKM) released a written statement regarding the referendum results. In the statement, it is underlined that the peoples of Turkey left behind the most injustice electoral process in the history, “As women, who are most affected by 15-year AKP government’s war, gender and economic policies, we have left behind the referendum process, which opens the way to one-man dictatorship. As women being oppressed by male dominant, we never leave the streets against the law of rape, arrests, detention and bans on March 8.”

‘We won’t surrender to the dictator’

In the statement, it is noted that the ‘No’ willpower is wanted to be stolen by way of the countess lies, frauds and manipulations, “The statement made by the Prime Minister and the YSK (Supreme Election Board) show the scope of the defeat and the power of ‘No’ once again. Against all frauds and lies; as women, we declared that we wouldn’t recognize the fraudulent decision of the YSK by taking to the streets until morning. And we declare again that we won’t leave the streets and we won’t surrender to the dictator. We will cry that these results aren’t legitimate and we will continue to resist.”

KAGİDER: Even a slightest doubt should be answered

Women Entrepreneurs Association (KAGİDER) also released a written statement regarding the referendum results. KAGİDER President Sanem Oktar said, “85 percent voters participated in the constitutional referendum held on 16 April. Answering all doubts on the referendum results is very importance for the future of democracy in our country.”
