Thousands of civilians from Tilafer, Mosul, Tebqa and Raqqa regions have been migrating to safe areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) due to Daesh attacks. Yesterday, 150 civilians, mostly women and children, reached to the areas liberated by SDF.
‘We were waiting for the fighters’
Zeyneb El-Ebid, one of women migrated from Meskene city, stated that they were waiting for the SDF fighters to rescue them. Zeyneb said, “We were waiting for the fighters to rescue us and to make the region safe. All Meskene people were waiting the SDF fighters to rescue them.” Zeyneb El-Ebid called on SDF fighters and commanders to clean up Raqqa and Tebqa from Daesh gangs.
