ANKARA – Ankara Governorate has banned all meetings, protests and marches in public places for 30 days.
In Ankara, where constitutional amendments are being discussed, all protests and marches have been banned by Ankara Governorate. In the statement made by the Ankara Governorate, it is said “According the information received by our governorate, it has been determined that illegal terrorist organizations are search of action in our city and they have made some preparation. It is estimated that actions are planned to be practiced during meetings, protests and marches in opened and closed areas. For this reason, in order to protect life and property, to protect public order and well-being, to prevent crime, to protect the rights and freedoms, all kinds of meetings, protests and marches have been banned for 30 days.”
